Background: Subin's early life wasn't horrible, given where he was born. His parents did their best for him, for all of them, but there is only so much a poor family can really do. Still, Subin didn't mind at all. He played with the things he conjured in his mind, he kept his head down for the most part and was just starting to get the desire to change their life when things went awry. He never knew what his family did or who they were working for day by day. So when a few tough-looking guys came by Subin was unsure why his mother was trying to get him to hide. He did so despite his uncertainty and had his first idea of how bad the east could be listening to them beat and have their way with his mother. He was young still, it was hard to understand exactly what was happening but he began to learn when the guys came around he needed to hide.

He was eleven the first time he couldn't hide away in time. It was a crash course in just what he'd heard happening all those times as he was pinned in place and forced to watch everything that happened. He'd struggled and struggled, trying to save his mother from the rough treatment but nothing he did would get the hands that held him in place off. With someone else for them to essentially torture they began to come by more often. They never did anything to Subin more than a few punches and the rough hold against the wall, but they made sure he watched. He was twelve when he started to feel numb to what he was experiencing.

He was thirteen when they decided it was time to take it further. Whatever had happened that had made their family a target was obviously not being solved, so Subin became the new 'price'. Only he wasn't beaten and 'played' with at home, he was taken to the leader. It was there he spent a lot of years as nothing more than a toy for the gang. He was beaten, played with, and almost killed so many times that he lost all sense of feeling, both physically and emotionally. This only made them beat him more as he simply moved with their punches. No matter the pain he was in he never made a noise, never shed a tear. He didn't fight back, he didn't plead, or beg, he simply accepted what was happening to him.

He didn't know how old he was when Hanse found him. He didn't understand what happened at all. He was beaten to the point he could barely even move, Hanse was the one charged with removing him. He'd never met Hanse before then, Subin figured he was someone who had moved up within the gang and was now in that position. Once again he didn't fight back, he hung limp, sat still, and didn't react at all while he was being treated. He wasn't even sure who it was that was helping him anymore. It wasn't until his fifth beating that week, still unable to really move that someone finally stepped in. He wasn't aware of people near him, he barely felt the boots colliding with his bruised and bloody torso. Then it stopped. Subin didn't dare move at that moment. He listened to the muffled noises around him until he finally noticed the blood pooling near him. 

That was the day Hanse took over, and the day Subin was free. Only he didn't know what to do, or what to say, or really how to live at all. So he stayed. He stayed by Hanse and learnt. It took some time but he learned how to function to a degree. He learnt how he could be helpful, and the kinds of things he needed. His place is now by Hanse's side. It is very rare that he is not somewhere near Hanse though many people never notice him as he keeps to the shadows. He's also sent out on very important missions which is how he's managed the name Ghost as no one really see's or hears him, but they know he's around.

Hyunjin: The closest thing to a rival that Subin has. He doesn't hate or dislike Hyunjin given how helpful he is to Hanse, and in turn himself, but he still hates that Hanse is relying on someone else for something he can do himself. He is also hyper-aware of the skills that Hyunjin has and is always on edge when he's meeting with Hanse.
Hanbi: Hanse's sister and resident basket case. Subin is mostly indifferent to Hanbi, however, he makes sure to always make sure she is safe as well, easily suffering her fantasies. He likes the random moments when she seems a lot more lucid, that very few people seem to see from her.
