Lin Shi Yi - Her name, picked by her parents which means the river of time brings about the perfect angel to the Lin family showed that her parents' blessings and hopes were for her to lead a just life, and to bring about honour to her family. 

C H A P T E R   0 0 1 - The Lins' Daughter

Lu Yan Ran, the 27 years old wife of Lin Hao Chen, had a long and painful labour as she struggled through the night to bring their child to this world. However, what she'd delivered was a baby who wasn't crying and for a second, looked like she wasn't breathing either.

Yan Ran and Hao Chen had thought they'd immediately lost their child before they even got the chance to meet her but as soon as the babe was placed into the distressed man's arms, the delivery room suddenly rang with the loud cries of their daughter to announce her own arrival.

Lin Shi Yi had been born. 

After receiving the heart attack in the form of life and death, Mr and Mrs Lin doted on their daughter very much, striving to only give her the very best. It was what she deserved after all, and in return, she brought them honour. She was a fast learner, and had been extremely mature for her age from a young age. Her grades were astronomical, bringing home straight As without fail every single exam season. They enrolled her into ballet and piano classes, and it was no surprise that she excelled in them too. She was a miracle, the perfect angel who'd been sent to their family. 

However, Shi Yi wasn't happy. She was exhausted from constantly trying to be the perfect daughter to her loving parents. She was far too afraid to disappoint them which resulted in her doing anything, and everything she could to prevent that from happening. She wasn't very good with her social skills - the result of her being so reclused from the rest of her peers as she hyperfocused on bringing home good grades. 

Getting even a single slice of criticism made it extremely difficult for Shi Yi to digest. She had to be perfect, and if she wasn't, who was she? It quickly burnt her out as she grew older and began wanting to be around people her age instead of simply being locked away and being surrounded by books. She wanted to go out and have fun like everyone else her own age appeared to be. This desire terrified her and at the young age of 12, Shi Yi asked to be homeschooled. That way, she wouldn't be distracted by these useless desired, and seeing as the Lins were very happy to give her anything and everything she wanted, this wish was quickly granted.

a dedicated, passionate police officer who values justice over everything else to a flaw. however, deep down, she cares about the people around her - strangers and friends alike, and simply want to keep them safe, even at the expense of her own safety. she's cool and level-headed most of the time, with the only exception being the incident with her father. she hides all of her feelings and emotions behind a cold, stoic mask, and appears as a girl who couldn't give a about anything that doesn't have anything to do with her.

she's that kind of girl who's afraid of showing emotions, and getting attached to people so she'd shove them far away from her as soon as she feels herself begin to open up. deep down, she's lonely but she'd rather die than to ever reveal that side of her to anyone who's currently in her life.

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。 I do para to novella strictly in 3rd pov. Lengthwise, I try to mirror, but I can get carried away fairly easy, so it's not guaranteed.

•.*★ plotting style。 I prefer plotting over winging it most of the time as I prefer having a direction. However, it would also be nice to still have enough room for enough creativity. I also don't typically approach people unless I have a plot or idea in mind, and I really like when people do the same. I don't mind writing starters and will volunteer to do so if the plot calls for it. 

•.*★ overall。 I'm think I'm semi-flexible about how we actually rp and will work at your pace if possible. The only thing is that I like to write in 3rd pov as it's what I'm more comfortable with.

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ important。 I will never poke you but please do poke me if I haven't gotten back to you in 5 days. However, refrain from using my activity or lack of it as an excuse to pester me about a reply. Sometimes I could just be burnt out from writing, or I may be a bit too busy to sit down and properly write out my reply.

I'm usually slow with my replies, sometimes because of the length, but sometimes because I'm just slow to do them. We can always drop/pick up our thread(s), but make sure you communicate with me. I'm currently a graduating student so replies might take a bit of time.

Honestly, I'll roleplay anywhere I can. I like rooms, walls when I'm busy, and I'm okay with PMs. I don't do ual plots so please refrain from bringing it up.
