born and raised in the pohang district, yeosang was a sickly child growing up. even going through his transition he struggled to keep himself healthy, so his parents applied for the experimental treatment program that the government was being advertised to the poorer districts, and his family became desperate. finally he was accepted, and yeosang was taken into sector 1 where the procedures occured.
when he was brought into sector 1, however, it was no longer an experimental treatment but torture. they wanted to know why he was diagnosed with rare diseases, why there was a new version of a virus that could wipe out their enemies inside of a sickly boy. yeosang was torn from his family and was continuously poked and proded for years until they deemed him a failure of an experiment, and they killed him.
or so they thought.
when the rebels found him, yeosang was in and out of consciousness and begging for a second chance. he had no idea how old he was or who he was as a person, only remembering his name, but that was enough. they rescued him and brought yeosang to their base where they gave him his cybernetic upgrades - a computer chip in his brain that allows him complete and unfiltered access to anything online, and a new left forearm and hand from where his was torn to shreds by wild animals who had thought he was dead. taking on the moniker of hel, yeosang is determined to take down the government for good.
