Minsu had always been a fan of hiphop specifically, both the music style and rappers as well as the dance style.

Since young, he frequented a dance academy, and although his skills were sharp and the routine looked clean, he always got placed in the back during evaluations and performances due to his lack of 'impact'. Despite harsh and continuous practice he couldn't seem to pick up the confidence needed to bring out the strong presence and expressions, or the powerful aura his teammates always exuded whenever they danced. 

Even so, whether it was for his looks or the potential they saw in him, he still managed to get scouted into Noir Entertainment during one of his academy's performances. With a new boost to his self-esteem, he immediately joined their training program, the recognition making him feel a bit more comfortable with his skills.

A lot of the other trainees had the confidence and the stage presence to make it work despite not being incredibly good at anything, Minsu on the other hand, had to rely on just the skills for now, lacking the stage presence to make himself stand out among all the others. Still, he was working on it, learning from observing the others and practicing in the mirror whenever he got alone time. If only he could bring his confidence up, he was sure to leave an impression on the audience.
