Hence, she moved to Korea [her roots] with her grandmother to settle down and study geriatric nursing. luckily for her, she got through with a part-time job at a small clinic in the city to pay for her nursing school. She decided that she rather focus on living where her roots came from and better yet, where her grandmother is located, always preferring to come to the city where her grandmother born and grew up at. rather than stay back in canada with strangers for a family. Yeji wants to make a positive change in the community and offer her nursing services to as many elderly people as she can.

YC can be someone higher up, whether it's a nurse, doctor, counselor, someone who deals with people on a day to day basis. YC sees Yeji struggling and rushed to aid her, she had a full blown anxiety/panic attack while at work dealing with a kid's mom who was suffering from a heart attack. Reminding her back to a tragic memory when her grandmother suffered that fatal blow and almost passed onto the otherworld. Someone has to calm her down and you're there, holding her hand and the way you knew to stop a raging panic attack was by making her hold her breath. she won't listen in that frenzy she got herself into, so you did the ONE thing you could've think of; you kissed her.

Childhood friends were supposed to be easier right? Especially when it's childhood sweethearts. Okay, it was unrequited, it was mostly YC in love with Yeji, head over heels with her back in elementary school. It was so brutal that it started affecting your studies even and reading. Teachers had to block you from seeing her because you won't stop lolling off during class while looking at her. A lovesick pup! She calls you this, you both are best of friends up until today, when she decided to move to Seoul you were torn up about it. But as time passes, you suddenly came here as well and met back each other in person; keeping touch via social media was never the same. YC helps Yeji with her studies, be a moral support in addition to her grandmother as well. You wonder if things can be "more?" Would Yeji ever feel the same?

Yeji was in the right place at the right time! who says that angels are best cloaked with wings and a big, broad chest?! Yeji was there and you were the first person she ever saved! An incoming crash was about to go down and you were about to be pitched straight into the air and flipped across the road sunny side up- style. Totally disturbing, but thankfully she saw what would've happened before it did. Call it intuition, Yeji has been very intuitive since a child and she believes it comes from her deep spirituality that she dug and sort through with the help of her wise grandmother. Having to deal with hateful "parents and a sibling" 24/7 made her want to lose her mind. To cope with this the "right way" she turned to spirituality and since she dug into that aspect of her life. She senses when something tragic is to happen, that day she saved you. Both bodies banged up but at least she helped save you from becoming meshed under heavy bus tires. New girl, new city, a nurse in the making. What are the odds. (this took place back when she just moved here at age 21)

Yeji can be quite shy so her grandmother thought it'll be a lovely thing to do in setting her up on a blind date of all things! Yeji doesn't know who this person is, what he looks like, smells like, does he even smell good? Eek! Just thinking about it makes her skin crawl! She loves a hygienic man okay? What leds up to this "date" would thoroughly shock her life. Yeji went out a couple nights ago, clubbing for the first time in a long time. Taking a break from all her overwhelming studies and her friend suggest they use a hooker, take shots and even consume edibles (weed jellies) what can go wrong right?! Well, Yeji gave into desire with some hot guy, smelling sweet of cologne and laced with overwhelming lustrous satisfaction that tickles her very core. A night to remember was a night left with overwhelming dark spots in her memory! She can't remember anything! Just have bruises on her body to remind her from his love bites and a sore aching lower half with knees barely able to carry her out of the man's apartment/house/whatever YC has. Her grandmother set her up on a blind date with the very man she never called even when she found his number in her purse when she went back home; instead ripping it to shreds from embarrassment. "So you blanked me and now you came on a date with me?" Yeji is about to have a middle-life crisis. Bet.
