Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ WRITING STYLE。 I can do semi-para to novella. I prefer third person! I do not do scripts because that is not what I enjoy doing. If you do script, I will most likely reply back with a small third person para. I usually mirror lengths (depending on mood), so do not worry about the length of your reply.

•.*★ PLOTTING STYLE。 I prefer plotting over winging. Though, I do not mind winging if it is our only option. It'll be amazing if you could come to me with an idea in mind, but it is not required! In general, I love to brainstorm and have deep connections with characters.

Starters depend on the plot, so please don't push me to do the starter unless the plot asks me to. If you have to start, I do not mind waiting at all. I am patient!

•.*★ PREFERRED GENRES。 I am a huge er for any angsty and any form of chemistry, but I also enjoy comedy and romance plots. For romance plots, I don't really like to plot how the present relationship ends or leads up (past relationships are okay). I rather let it go with the flow and see how it turns out; mostly because I like to surprise myself! Overall, I am okay with any genre though.

I am not very comfortable with ting (I usually skip through the process), but I do not mind NSFW threads or NSFW-themed plots. Please do keep in mind that I would prefer that your muse's IC age is close to my muse's IC age and that you are 19+ OOC!

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ READ。 If I do not reply to a thread within a week or a pm within 3 days, feel free to poke me. It is a nice gesture for me because I forget a lot and have ADHD!

However, I do not poke people (kind of hypocritical actually LOL), so please do not expect me to do that!

Replying is based on my motivation and time, also whether I remember that I need to reply. The longest I'll take is a week, but I normally reply within the first 3 days.

If I take longer than that, it is likely that I am busy or I forgot to log on RPR. Do not fret though, I will come back!

•.*★ THE START。 So you're Noah?

As a first-gen son, Insu had responsibilities. His family resided in a neighborhood who were ethnically similar to theirs. It was given that his parents and neighbors taught him his native language first. Learning English became a huge responsibility, but dealing with non-American parents was another.

He grew to endure their 'tough love', a love that people around him didn't experience. His parents treated him as if he owed them something, as if he was born to care for them in the end. Insu never found a problem with it, often excusing it as their way of 'love' from their harsh upbringings.

He mindlessly followed their ideals throughout his childhood. His family often told him that he'll be their trophy son and that he'll be a part of the medical field and become 'rich'. He was blinded by their dream, studying for hours and hours to achieve it.

Just like any other Asian-American story, Insu realized that his parents' ideals weren't the same as his. During his junior year of high school, his not-so-secret girlfriend taught him what it is to have a dream and why it is so important to live freely.

He started to suffocate under their rule. His days began to feel tired, having to deal with a goal that wasn't his to begin with. However, he was still afraid of standing up for himself, alongside having to be a role model for his younger sibling.

After graduation, he impulsively broke up with his lover. Despite her pleas, he reasoned as the "only way". The turn caused him to return back to his original goal of becoming a nurse, managing to score his way to a prestigious college.

He exhausted himself from beginning to end. he had to study and volunteer constantly to meet the ends of his classes and competitive major. His only way of stress relief was to around and get himself in spontaneous relationships and way too many flings. He toyed and flirted with people, ing them and leaving them right after. He became notorious for doing so, and people nicknamed him a boy and a natural heartbreaker.

He knew it was selfish. Breaking hearts was too easy and entertaining, but it was too cliche to him. Instead, he grew bored of it. It was too boring having to sit through relationships. His interest settled on heavy use of alcohol, partying... and surprisingly, music.

Music was simply what he used to pass time. He'd plug in his earbuds while working out, studying, whatever activity he planned to do, but out of his many interests, music never left him. And so suddenly, he decided to adventure into music.

IFFY became his new persona. A simple guy who produced tracks and wrote his whole lyrics. He did it on SoundCloud, the easiest place to publish his works. It was a fun activity, something that would take his mind off his stress before he returned to it. He never expected much out of it until one of his songs caught the attention of a well-known artist.

The artist contacted him instantly, applauding and recognizing his work. He was delighted by the compliments; of course, any attention is good for him. The simple message only motivated him to push forward. He used that opportunity to network and branch out to other artists that were a part of KHH and K-INDIE.

People started to remember him. People started to know who he was. Insu began to realize that, perhaps, music was just his thing.

•.*★ THE NOT-SO-ENDING。 DONO now?

During his trip to Los Angeles, he had a gig that he decided to sign up for. The stage ended pleasantly, with him being able to perform one of his many songs for the first time. 

Unexpectedly, he was approached by a scout from Sunrise while waiting for his friends. He initially refused the offer at the first meeting. Still, the scout pestered him until he (reluctantly) agreed to take their business card. He never planned to continue his music career once he graduated. However, his pessimism ticked him off. Out of impulse, he rang the scout's number simply out of ego and pride.

Maybe, this was his gate out of boredom (and into freedom).
