Ever since he turned his life around, he's become a completely different person. All of his focus is set on the pursuit of any and all types of pleasure and satisfaction, in whatever form it may come to him. This requires an open-mind and adventurous spirit which he considers to be his most striking traits.

He is also an extrovert and hates being alone, hence will make sure to keep people close, yet, he does have a hard time trying to see something from someone else's perspective and if there is something he doesn't consider worthy of being upset, he won't easily understand why someone else would be upset about it. This fact will sometimes lead to miscommunication and/or misunderstandings, which he will then try to resolve shortly as he is not someone to perpetuate this type of fight. If the other person intends on keeping at it though, they better not expect him to up to them because he won't. He is not one to hold grudges, but due to his past with his parents, he became really good at cutting ties with people who attempt to make his life more difficult than it needs to be.

Tries to be a positive person regarding most aspects of his life. The type of "when a door closes a window opens" or even never focusing on only "one door" so he can keep his options open. This applies to his love life as well, as he is someone who is naturally very trusting, and hence requires others to be just as trusting. This means no jealousy or possessiveness on his part and he will expect the same from his partners. Loves teasing and playfully flirting but rarely ever means it, though honestly? If it works, it works.

Doesn't talk much about his past, not due to trauma or because it hurts him, but simply because he doesn't find it necessary or worthy of discussion. He is also very cautious of how much he shares and with whom, but otherwise, he is mostly a free spirit and will just try to keep his life as easy and enjoyable as possible while trying to allow those around him to do the same.

Born in Daejeon, South Korea, Seungjoo was dropped into the foster care system within his first few days of living. Being the biological son of a teen couple who had never intended to keep him, and with his mother being too scared to get an abortion, his fate had been carved since the moment the girl had confirmed her pregnancy. 

For the first few years, he stayed in a group home, befriending all the other foster kids and caring for them as the brothers and sisters that destiny had given him. Everyone knew that the longer you stayed within the home, the older you got, the less likely it would be for you to get adopted, and Seungjoo knew with each passing day that his time was running out. Yet, when he was nearing his 8th birthday, he was finally picked up by a seemingly caring couple who could not carry biological children.

It started out fine, even though there was always a somewhat distant atmosphere as if there was a glass wall between him and his adoptive parents that never allowed him to get close. Still, they were able to offer him an okay education and lifestyle, and honestly, that was more than he had ever expected to get, so he couldn't bring himself to complain. He had hoped time would let them warm up to each other and bond, but instead, the distance kept growing and the couple seemed to grow frustrated with him. As they were paying for his education they would demand top grades from him, as they were paying for his living expenses, they would demand he helped out with house chores, and by helping out, they meant he did it all. His family life become more of a full-time job rather than the warm embrace he had wished for.

Things went on like this all the way until he got into high school, which was when his social circle expanded and changed, and he finally learned to say no. Adopting him had been their choice. They had chosen to become his parents. He was not their slave and he did not intend on taking a business, law, or medicine degree just so they could brag to their friends about the bright and successful child they had. With this new mindset, Seungjoo started enrolling in multiple school clubs as a way to avoid heading home early, amidst these, the music and basketball clubs for which he gained a new-found passion. His natural talent for instruments and love for music had him improving quickly, almost as if he'd been playing for years, and within the three years of high school, he picked up the guitar, bass, and his favored, the drums.

Focusing more on hobbies and friends as a way to avoid his family issues, including the constant sleepovers and nights out with friends, only added fuel to fire, his parents getting more and more upset with each day he arrived back past morning hours only to shower, change clothes and head to school. The fights became a daily occurrence and they blamed him for a choice that had been theirs, claiming he'd become a waste of their money and effort. So, the moment he graduated high school and at 17 years old, he dipped. Reaching an agreement, they'd signed the documentation authorizing him to leave the country. He would be out of their lives and they wouldn't need to pay or worry about anything else related to him.

Within the next few years, Seungjoo traveled and worked and enjoyed his solo life, making friends here and there for the short amounts of time he'd stay at each place. His first stop was Tokyo, where he got a shady job as a bartender in a place that didn't even ask for his documentation. He attempted to get into college but dropped out within the first few months before deciding he needed to get further away. He needed a complete change of scenario to truly find himself, and that's how he found himself in London. Spending a big portion of his money on a brand-new guitar, he started busking the streets, luckily for him, his musical skill, voice, likable personality, and appearance were a huge boost and he managed to get quite a bit of attention. He stayed in London for a couple of years before setting out on a Eurotrip with a group of friends he'd made along the way, spending all of their savings on music festivals, concerts, and overall tourism. Once their moment of high comes to an end, he is forced to face reality once again, but this time, he's ready and confident.

For a long time, Seungjoo believed his fate to be set in stone and that there wasn't much he could do to really change it. There were social expectations and someone like him had very few means to achieve them so he could hardly deviate from the path set for the majority. Thankfully, his travels allowed him a new perspective and a new goal in life. He dropped his preconceptions and prejudices and returned to South Korea, his only goal being the pursuit of pleasure and satisfaction. For once he'd focus on the things he enjoyed and live his life the way he wanted.

01. While he was staying in Europe he formed a small band with some musicians he picked up on the street. 

02. Both of his adoptive parents were very religious and he was initially raised as such, being signed up for an all-boys religious school and forced to go to church every Sunday. Maybe because it was forced on him, or maybe due to the bad relationship with his parents and the schools and churches he forcibly went to, he ended up holding a grudge against religion in general. Atheist or non-theistic satanist for the s and giggles.

03. Often goes by the nickname Loren which he got while living in London.

04. He is really into fashion and loves shopping, messing around with clothes for DIY projects, and modeling. Always has his nails painted, usually black, but rarely are they taken care of.

05. Loves body art and will get new ink almost monthly. Will sometimes do it on impulse not caring much about the meaning behind it and sometimes lets Hyunji doodle on his skin just for the sake of it. Will let his friends draw tattoos for him or even tattoo him themselves with his tattoo gun.

06. Has multiple tattoos all over his body, mostly arms and torso, of varying styles ranging from all black to color, large to minimalistic, doodles to quotes, a little bit of everything.

07. Has his ears pierced, a navel piercing that he showcases in short or see-through tops or when modeling shirtless, and a nose ring that he alternates between black and silver jewelry.

08. Has worked as a bartender in a shady bar in Tokyo when he first moved there and later worked as an assistant in a tattoo shop where he was taught how to pierce.
