about han jisung!
one fateful day, at 1:49 in the morning, han jisung downloaded yourstruly after scrolling through instagram for a few hours. maybe he was jealous of all those people posting stories with their friends, maybe he wanted to finally escape his life as a shut-in. either way, at that point, he decided he didn't want to be an alien, all alone on this earth, anymore.
on yourstruly, jisung is some fun-loving extrovert who loves to go out for a good time. outside of the app, jisung is just an introvert with a small social circle of maybe one, trying to overcompensate for his lack of a social life. but there is some part of himself hidden in that online personality of his, and jisung hopes that someone can see it and like him for who he is.

ever since he was 8, jisung followed his father as he moved from country from country for work. jisung definitely made friends in the international schools he had been to; they follow each other on instagram and everything! but over the years, jisung didn't see the point in making temporary connections anymore.
when he was 20, jisung moved back to korea on his own. old habits die hard, and jisung never got back into the rhythm of having a social life. he found a job as a web novel author with the pen name j.one, which helped to pay the bills without him needing to leave his lovely apartment or talk to anybody (except his editor). life was mundane, but jisung liked it that way, for a while at least.
plots/connections!
✿ nice to meet you, where've you been? you and jisung used to be classmates and the two of you have reunited on yourstruly. the thing is, jisung has a hard time keeping track of his classmates and doesn't seem to remember you. but one thing's for sure, the jisung on this app is not the same jisung who kept to himself and left the school as soon as the school bell rang.
✿ i think i've seen this scene before? you were reading a rom-com web novel when you stumbled upon a scene that is essentially a word-for-word copy of an interaction you've had with jisung. except, it's much more romantic than you remember. do what you will with this information.
note: doesn't necessarily involve jisung actually having romantic feelings, can be written as him just taking inspiration LOL
✿ take me out? there's this new restaurant that's all the rage right now and jisung really wants to try their food. unfortunately, they don't do takeaways and jisung would rather die than eat in a restaurant alone, so he asks you to go there together.
