It's a long story, and let me tell you I did NOT mean to end up where I am now. I'm not complaining exactly, I did it to myself, but I'm pretty sure that if the dragon finds out I'm not the tanuki he thinks I am I might just end up as a main course. Medium Rare. Tanuki bacon. Delicious BBQ complete with lettuce wraps. I've got it good right now you know, I'm a Knight, an official one even! I have a best friend, her name is Yooa, what else can a simple guy ask for in life? Sure, no body knows that I'm a shapeshifter, or that I've been cursed and that's why I'm stuck in my animal form, but that's okay. What has being human ever done for me anyway? It got me enslaved, and cursed. But being a tanuki? I'm a Knight! And an Honorary Dragon! I've got it way better now than I ever did before. Sign me up for that sweet tanuki life 24/7. Part 1 - A Mighty Hero's Origin

My incredibly inspiring and epic story starts in a small town along the trade route through the rainforest. I was born to kind but inattentive parents with twelve siblings that I was smack in the middle of. No, my parents weren't rabbit shifters, why does everyone ask that? Anyway, I was the middlest of middle children and my father told me one morning "Jisung, it's time for you to learn a trade and start working."  So with my cheeks stuffed with rice I responded; "Dad, I'm not Jisung, I'm Sungji. Jisung is outside." er fell for it, apologized and left. Jokes on him cause he doesn't even have a son named Sungji. I realized then that my time had come, so I packed my bag hobo style and set off on my great adventure!

Part 2 - The Tanuki, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

I learned very quickly that adventuring is cold, wet, and muddy. False advertising if you ask me. I thought it would be back to back action, death defying stunts, incredible feats of bravery. Not stepping in questionable puddles and constantly smelling like wet fur. It took me exactly two hours to realize I might have been too hasty when setting off, but I wasn't about to let what I really hoped was just extra stinky mud stop me from living my dream. I trekked on! Over hills, and across rivers, scaling mountains until it started to get dark. The dark is scary. But fate was on my side, and I came across a house with a witch living inside. She offered me to come inside and I gladly accepted. Then she asked me what I thought of her home, and I am a man of honor, of principal, my Mama taught me never to lie so I told her. "Eh, it's kind of ugly." I was spitting straight FACTS. She couldn't take the heat, it was too much Han Jisung for her. So... yeah, anyway, I got cursed. #whyyoumadbro #tanukilife.

Part 3  - Kitsune, Dragons, and Bears, oh my!

Let me tell you, being stuck as a tanuki is not all it's cracked up to be. These paws were not made for thumbsing. I'm pretty sure I'm also lactose intolerant now, but that doesn't stop me from mowing down on some delicious cheese when it comes my way. Speaking of my way, I got real lucky after that witch cursed me. I was wandering, lost and afraid, when I was found by this stunning, gorgeous, beautiful maiden. Her name was Irene, and she might be my new religion. She took me in as one of her own and I got my first ever job as a Shrine Cleaner! I was kicking at it too when one day, out of no where, this guy shows up poisoned and bleeding to death! I did what any brave hero would do when I found him; I ran and got Irene to fix it. It turned out he wasn't just a man, but a whole dragon! A real one! He was the coolest thing I'd ever seen in my whole life. I was maybe a little starstruck. So when he suddenly offered to take me with him I wasn't thinking 'Gee Jisung, maybe you ought to tell this super powerful LEGEND that you're not an actual tanuki.' I was thinking 'HOLY THE DRAGON WANTS A SIDE KICK!'. I went from Cool lvl 4 to Cool lvl 9000. No regrets. 

Minor regrets. I don't know what to do now. He's gonna figure it out someday. This curse can't last forever, right?
