jung soojung, once a fashion editor and columnist for a famous magazine, was a renowned name in the world of seoul's fashion world.

she returned to south korea with her family from california at the age of 16, started her career at a ripe age of 20 with her own travel and fashion blog, soon rose to fame with her insightful fashion trend predictions and critiques, even modeled for a few major brands. she starts working for bazaar korea after graduating, where she truly believed she was blooming.

but as great as her life started, it was rather unfortunate - that what was once her biggest passion since she was a little girl was quick to become a burden. she became too busy for her personal life, often unable to keep her relationships for more than a few months, and was dragged into countless, needless gossips that made her own friends turn on her. her works were plagiarised, her portfolio trashed as she was called the copycat instead. there is so much someone can take, so soojung, heartbroken and desperate, in a raging fit, abruptly leaves her job and disappears from seoul to find herself at the small town she had frequented on vacations with her family.

but, what were her options? this place... turned out to be all too foreign to her. 

there's a job opening at a local production house, looking for a stage manager. she wasn't exactly unfamiliar with this, having been a school theatre crew back in the day... so why not try it out?
