⌦ Bio: (TW!Death): Born from his mother's blood on his hands, Mingyu grew up knowing he had a kink for life's dark and exotic aspects. Despite efforts to keep him from succumbing to the darkest parts of his mind, Mingyu couldn't help but delve into the world of dark magic, using a little girl as a sacrifice for more power. His failed attempts caused him to curse himself with nightmares of a little girl haunting him, sending him into a pit of madness and leading him to end his own life. Instead of walking the path to reincarnation, he becomes a mare, who haunts during the night and indulges himself in the same activities as he did while he was human. 

Though he feeds off the darkness, Nightmare hides behind the spotlight as a rapper and singer-songwriter of Seventeen. But don't let his charms or faultless looks fool you. Despite his human background, he stands by Orpheus, looking down and those he finds inferior. 

⌦ Powers:

• ability to induce and drink nightmares or night terrors (usually from the host's fears or worries) through close proximity contact. may cause shortness of breath, paralysis, and nightmarish illusions
• ability to make people sleep (to shut them up). time ranges.

⌦Weakness:

• needs to haunt at least once a week or he starts to look inhuman and hideous.
• if someone presses their thumb against his palm or offers him something to lend, he is forced to return tomorrow to borrow something instead of the haunt.

⌦ Personality: playful, flirty, dark, manipulative, deranged when he hasn't fed, , loves unpredictable people because he can be unpredictable, himself.

⌦ Likes: Body parts (attached :>), , terror, chaos, nightmares, exotic beings, blood, photography, breaking people, breaking things, kettle corn, art, horror movies, etc.

⌦ Dislikes: clinginess, humans, boring shows, worms, fish, horseheads (but he'll ride one), ice cream, cotton candy, doesn't like the sun, will wear sunglasses. fears open bodies of water, fears drowning, fears lack of control, etc.

⌦ Character Trivia: Only haunts between the time of 8pm - 5am.  Those with a weak constitution are more susceptible to his powers. He needs to haunt at least once a week or he starts to look less human-like, which makes it harder for him to get closer to his victims. Needs to tap one part of someone's body to have access to their dreams in order to haunt them or be close in proximity. Thus, he tends to seduce his victims to sleep with him and feast on their dreams once they sleep. Once he's done feasting on their dreams, he will leave a Chrysanthemum beside their bedside to wish them well after temporarily cleansing them of the darkness that plagues their minds.

⌦ Interesting Trivia Found: ▸demonic being which presses upon sleeping people so they cannot utter a sound. ▸If you don't move your chair before going to sleep, the mare will ride it during the night. They like to give people hair snarls (called whole-grain braids or mare braids), by on their hair and then braiding it. ▸When an alp is pressing against you, you can put your thumb in your hand, and he will have to retreat. ▸If you say to an alp that is pressing upon you, "Trud, come tomorrow, and I will lend you something!" then he will immediately retreat and come the next day in the form of a human, in order to borrow something.
