Born from a human mother and a kitsune father, Seungwan lived in the Woodlands where the kitsune lived and it was their haven. Her human mother, as soon as she married to her kitsune father, lived in the Woodlands with her and her father. At a young age, Seungwan always do chores with her mother while her father is working in the port of Heleo. 

However, at the age of 10, left the Woodlands all by herself as she followed her father to Heleo. Because of her curiosity to things, she was led into a trap. There are smugglers who kidnaps children and turn them into slaves for profit, Seungwan was caught by them and branded her arm with a slave number before putting a collar on her. At a young age, she was exposed in all kinds of service as a slave. That time she is still a human.

But at the age of 18, the red moon appeared at night and Seungwan couldn't sleep properly in her bed as if something is calling to her. She looked at her makeshift mirror and sees her eyes went blue then her body starts showing signs of transformation. She got out of their quarters and she ran faster than she usually ran, bones cracking, muscles swelling and her senses became stronger and unbearable, Seungwan screams in pain before she screams more as she slowly and completely turned into a humanoid kitsune. Furs over her arms, sharp claws on her nails, her ears turned into long pointy ones and lastly, she grew a white long tail, signifying her transformation as a fox.

She kept her fox form unless she needed to, she is very diligent and also curious of everything. However, Seungwan is no longer a free person, with a tattoo slave number on her left shoulder and a collar, she is now a slave. She can no longer go back to Woodlands, unless she desperately wanted to go. However, with a collar on her neck with a special stone attached to it, she only has limited capabilities.
