// the story.

hyejin is the youngest of three girls in her family and no doubt, receiving all the love and attention as what most maknaes of typical Korean families would. hailing from jeonju, jeolla prefecture, she had an average childhood growing up and only then in middle school did she became more aware of appearances. she didn’t have that typical Korean fair-skinned ideal as she was more on the tanned side and her features wasn’t really Korean. due to that, she was bullied in both middle and high schools, often picked on by the most popular girls simply because she didn’t fit in the ideal box. however she gritted her way through the most painful times with the help of her closest friends who were in the same shoes as her but for completely different reasons. if not for them, she would have thought about off-ing herself.

her love for animals were and still is so immense that she often tried to bring out stray kittens and puppies without her father knowing and more than often, her luck dried out where the minute she stepped in with her smuggled animals. through that, her family thought it was best to enrol her in a veterinary school and especially after what she had gone through. much to her delight, she moved immediately to Seoul and told herself to start all over and fortunately her friends even moved with her too for college as well. soon enough, her friends have gone on dates, meeting the right one, getting married or engaged while this woman here was just frisking around and going on one-time dates. it was either the man finding issues with her appearance and her huge appetite or the chemistry not being there. nonetheless, hyejin is more than happy to be single at this age but she is not going to hide the fact that she is truly feeling lonely now that her tight-knit circle of friends have moved on to the next stage in their lives. Thus, she had downloaded the app from hearing it through them and also for the sake of keeping them at bay; their nagging had made her ears bleed enough to make a bag.

hyejin is a big lover of animals and a foodie. due to her past, she has always kept close to her friends from her hometown and never having any in college in Seoul. she is pretty down to earth, open-minded but has a tendency to back away from things that might not be in her favour. she could be very boisterous online/on-screen but off the internet, she is just quiet and do her things alone if she isn't with her hometown friends. she can be quite introverted in person too and might take some time to warm up to strangers.

about me

i do not know myself absolutely other than the fact that i do love animals and my friends and my family. I'm still looking for more single friends and a long-term dating(?). if that long term dating thing didn't work out, hookups are fine. at least they are the kind where feelings are not attached to and i can simply go away after getting what i need.

aspirations

to be a better veterinarian and make sure no animal in South Korea ever suffer pain and abuse. to have more friends than just my circle and to meet the one, maybe? if that doesn't work out then i shall go on my path to the nunnery.

Talent

I'm good with animals, even the fierce and feral ones. And kids too. Apparently i'm known to bribe kids with candies they like just so they will like me too. :D

trekking! just putting on the mountain boots make me so happy. also camping, i just love the art of watching into the fire.
