The life

CHAPTER I Where to begin? Jongin was born to a family in a low income area with an older brother who is nine years apart. Father being an office worker stuck on the computer ten hours a day as a doctor receptionist and a mother who worked as a caregiver. The family was doing decent for themselves despite finacial struggles and a new born. However tragidy struck when baby Jongin was only eight months old. His mother was working with a client. The building caught on fire and she saved her client but it was too late for her. She passed away due the building collasping on top of her. Jongin never knew his mother but his father always told stories about her whenever Jongin asked.

School was easy for Jongin. Despite having less things than his peers, he excelled in school. While his brother was starting college, Jongin was focused on his own grades and finding a passion for himself. Being bored one day and playing with his long hair, Jongin took a pair of scissors and started to cut away. His father walked in on him with clumps of his hair and instead of getting mad at him, he did see his son had a bit of talent. He didn't necessarly messed up his hair either. He asked if Jongin could cut his hair for him and Jongin has been doing just that ever since.

CHAPTER II ✶ ⁞   important。 tw: Domastic violence, Abuse

By the age of 18, Jongin had graduated from school and went off to beauty college. There, he put his talent and passion forward and learned to be a cosmetologist. He started to build up a portfilo and cliental. He mainly cut, colored and styled hair for his friends, father and brother. But once he graduated from beauty college within the next two years, he got hired into a high fashion salon. There, he built up more cliental as well as started to style and cut for celebrities like idols, models and actors. He worked incredibly hard and started to make good money. Anything he made would be saved into an account to open his own salon in the future.

During work, there was a guy that had became Jongin's regular. Soon the relationship between client and hairdresser progressed into something more. Jongin had fallen hard and so easy for this person. He felt like he was living in a fairy tale. However two years later things started to become hell. Jongin had ignored the red flags, dismissing them easily. It was a mistake he'd never recover from.

Jongin's boyfriend at the time started to become more verbally and emotionally abusive. Calling Jongin terrible names and constantly putting him down. It had began as small side comments here and there until they snowballed into much more horrible and crude words. Evenually, his partner would yell and throw object either at him or near him. It became more esculated when there was alcohol envolved.

That's where the hitting, punching, kicking and shoving began. It was like once Jongin agreed to move in, his partner showed his true colors behind closed doors. The snowball kept rolling down the hill getting bigger and bigger. Jongin was isolated by his friends and family. When his partner wanted , there was no saying no. He started to become more rougher and ignoring Jongin's safe word or pleas to stop. Meals were expected to be made as well. Jongin spent hours and days just learning simple recipes. And if dinner was made terrible, well- Jongin was going to learn to cook it right the next time. There would be times Jongin would be dragged into the bathtub and held down into the water repeatedly. Once he was unconsious, he would be dragged out and his partner would preform CPR until Jongin coughed up the water.

There didn't seem like an end to his hellish nightmare. Until he saved his own life by slipping away, hidding under the small gap of the bed and calling emergancy services once his phone was unlocked. Police pushed open the small apartment door just as his partner was holding him down into the bathtub all because dinner was burnt. Police took his partner away and rushed Jongin to the hospital. Once he was ready he talked to the investagtors and went through a trial. The day his ex partner was sentenced and sent to prison was the day Jongin could breath again. He started to work on himself, attending therapy for his tramua as well as taking the meds perscribed by doctors and threw all his focus on work. To this day, he still suffers from PTSD, anxiety and depression.

Part II CHAPTER I Several years had past since then and Jongin felt ready to date again. Of course, he had to battle with his inner demons and felt the need to constantly look for warning signs. He walked on egg shells mostly around people. When he did set up dates, most of them failed on the first week. Some he ended just out of anxiety or stress and some the dates have ended on their own. He started to feel like he was battered and broken.

OTHER PERSONALITY INFO Jongin before everything happened to him was always bright and a cheerful person. He was the type of person you could call for help and he'd be there no matter what he was doing. After the ordeal, Jongin is now reserved and quiet. He tried hard to put on a brave happy smile for others but really he still hurts inside. He knows how to read the room and tried very hard not to bring the mood down. Jongin is rather timid and approaches uncertainty with caution.

Before You Approach Me

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。 I do script and para to novella. Script is generally done in 3rd pov, while para is done in 1st or 3rd pov. Lengthwise, I try to mirror, but I can get carried away fairly easy, so it's not guaranteed.

•.*★ plotting style。 I prefer winging over plotting most times, but I can plot. Because of this, I'll often do vague-ish plots that provide enough detail for you, but also give me enough room to play with our ideas. I also don't typically approach people unless I have a plot or idea in mind, and I really like when people do the same. Saves a lot of time.

To be honest, I also like writing starters and will most times if I know what I'm doing and if it makes sense for me to do it, but don't shove them on me. I get burned out doing so at times.

•.*★ overall。 I'm very flexible about how we actually rp and will work at your pace if possible. Like, I can do one lining script all the way to novella, in both 1st and 3rd pov. I'm really chill with whatever you wanna do!

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ important。 I will never poke you. Never poke me or I will ragequit/ignore you. You also don't need to remind me about me owing you a reply. I usually remember who I'm roleplaying with. Also refrain from using my activity or lack of it as an excuse to pester me about a reply. Doing like that will just annoy me and make me prolong sending something if I send something at all.

I'm usually very slow with my replies, sometimes because of the length, but sometimes because I'm just slow to do them. We can always drop/pick up our thread(s), but make sure you communicate with me. Also know that I might be active in the chat infrequently or a lot. I'm not a very consistent person when it comes to this.

Location Preferences

Honestly, I'll roleplay anywhere I can. I like rooms, walls when I'm busy, and I'm okay with PMs. Most plots I do are public friendly too, and when they aren't, I take them to PMs.
