Beomgyu was born to an ancient, royal clan of water spirits. Them, among other elemental clans being the ones keeping a balance in Korea. Though there were still the evil spirits that caused mischiefs, his clan tried the best to protect the people and keep the secret from humans. As a direct descendant of the main family, Beomgyu had a lot of restrictions growing up as he was primed and groomed to became a perfect mate as he was promised to marry someone from a faraway clan. Thanks to his older brother taking most of the responsibilities, though, he eventually got more freedom; leading him to eventually become an idol. He still keeps contact with his family whom although don’t support his decision, they still support him and mostly his brother being the one who sacrificed most for him.

Beomgyu as a water spirit must always stay moisturized, always having a sheer layer of water covering his skin and a water bottle nearby. He can blend in water to move faster, have a better hearing underwater and can manipulate/create any kind of water on all of its states. He has very basic healing abilities, mostly helpful with anything nature. He has a set of wings that almost look like glass and his eyes and a few markings on his body shine a bright blue when he uses his powers(ref)
