background: Being born in Japan and moving to Korea at 2 years old, Mei has always been fascinated with the k-pop idol world. She would participate in every school contest, covering a wide variety of k-pop songs with her friends. By the time she turned 10, she begged her mother to join a company, and she's been switching from company to company ever since. Being a really good dancer but a mediocre singer hasn't done much for her, and even though she's been training for over 5 years, no company seems to have enough faith in her to allow her to debut.
