background: Hanbyul's love for rap came when she's helping in her father's auto mechanic shop. He always put on k-hiphop and rap songs while fixing cars and that influenced Hanbyul, both for her skill in mechanical and rap. Since then, whenever she had a chance, she'll practice to write rap songs and even tried to compete in rap competition which she got 2nd place before being scouted by Lotus's scouter. She trained for quite awhile before debuting with Pandora.
