Kim Hongjoong grew up in a odd fashion. He was made to cook and clean for his mother. For the longest time all Hongjoong knew was his mother or his family which mocked him for living as if he was his mother's servant not her only child. That didn't stop him from doing it. His mother still expected the same treatment. However this treatment inferred with his social skills and ruined several chances. It didn't matter to him. He was looking after his "helpless" mother. That was until he made friends with his bestie.
His bestie did his best to teach him how "normal" people behaved. Hongjoong could blend in but it didn't mean that he understood everything people talked about. Hongjoong became the scary golden retriever friend. He would plan a murder or smack a hoe if it solved his friends problems. However his time with his mother made him effectively a masochist door mat.
