• soul absorption - originally possessed by his twin sister who had passed away due to long-term illness. obtained it through experiment and injected the power essence into his body when he was eighteen. limited to consented absorption (he later manipulated poor-born superhuman who contracted fatal disease by exchanging their life with fortune to their extended families. he can absorp the essence and preserve it to be mutated and infused to other non-superhuman Initiation members) and the person must be of natural case of death.

Bio:

• He had a twin sister but she passed away at the age fifteen. since then, he tried to reawake her death sister by preserving her body in a block of ice but he dreamt of his sister, begging him to let her go. 
• He then extracted the essence of his sister's superpower (soul-absorption and dream manipulation) and kept it in a specially designed machinery built by their family. His family was famous for their technological development and advancement in preserving superpower essence. Originally, the machine was developed to help government bodies to further research about this particular group of people who suddenly gained supernatural power upon birth. But Soo Hyuk had manipulated the system to research on essence mutation and the possibilty to infuse the preserved essence to other non-superpower being. and he succeeded.
• at the age of seventeen, he tried to infuse both of his sister's powers but miserably failed and caused him to be bed-ridden for two months. not willing to give up, he tried to infuse 'dream manipulation' essence into his body and was immediately sent to hospital due to heart failure as the essence did not naturally flow in his vein and instead, aggressively attacking his respiratory system.
• at the age of eighteen, he tried to infuse a portion of soul absorption power into his body and succeeded. he then proceed to gradually increased the intake of essence being infused into his body and completed the whole procedure after eight months-long. when he first tested the power to his close-attendant who was in the brink of death, he realized that he cannot kill them but instead, must obtain consent to absorp their power. Perhaps, the kindness in his sister's memories remained and she put certain restriction if that power were to be consumed by others.
• Upon realizing the limitation, he had his own agenda and started to use his money to exchange their power essence with life stability to the consented soul giver's extended family.
• He became a doctor in a special ward for superhuman to probe them into signing the 'soul exchange' agreement' with him.
