• Jaehyun was abandoned at birth. Fortunately, a kind couple who just lost their one and only son picked him up and raised him as their own child.
• He was a bright kid. Growing up full of love and attention molded him to become someone who's so considerate and kind.
• His adopted later officially adopted him when he was ten. They made aware of the fact that Jaehyun was not their biological son but they loved him endlessly.
• His father worked in a government sector, serving under the Ministry of Justice as the Head of Prosecution.
• His mother also worked in a government sector, serving under the same Ministry as the Head of Litigation Department.
• When he was thirteen, a woman came knocking on his family's door, claiming that he's Jaehyun's biological mother. Said her, she never abandoned him but her ex-boyfriend (not Jaehyun's biological father) had kidnapped him from hospital as a threat to his mother. Due to his addiction to alcohol, he accidentally left Jaehyun behind. Police report has been made, not once, but repeatedly and no witness came forward to help with the investigation. The only reason why his mother was able to know the truth was due to the fact that Jaehyun's mom (adopted) told the story to a mutual friend of Jaehyun's birth mother.
• Since then, his mother begged him to give her a chance to live with her, at least for few months and he's still allowed to visit his adopted family. Worried that the child 'might' grew up with no bilogical love, Jaehyun's adopted parents assured him that he will always be here, waiting for his return.
• That was when he moved to the Bel Air, California. Living the rich heir life and attending private school, with personal driver and a mansion on his own. He kept thinking that this was just a dream and one day, he's required to wake up from it. But it was not. Because money now was never a hindrance, he often visited his adopted family whenever he missed them. Thankfully, his adopted mom was able to get pregnant and he got a younger brother.
• After high school, Jaehyun decided to return to South Korea and attended KAIST to study a programming course. Upon graduation, he landed himself with a secure job as a remote software programmer, working for a company based in the USA. After few years, he quit the job and since then, has been helping a family friend to work as Meter Reader. (He's still do some freelance programming jobs).
