Krishna Bhandari was born in Bombay, India (now known as Mumbai) to a bloodline of famed stars and artists within the film industry dating back to the 1920s. His father had decades of experience as a renown film director of Hindi cinema thanks to his grandfather who was a well connected screenwriter. From the moment he was born, Krishna had already been handed his fate to follow in the footsteps of the men before him and become another big name in Bollywood.

However, there were just a few obstacles; The beautiful baby boy was born with scoliosis as well as polydactylism with a fused extra thumb on his right hand. It didn't seem to matter how the little boy's bright green eyes twinkled at the camera nor how hard he pushed his physical limits to keep up with expectations. He struggled to land roles, only able to become an extra or be casted as favours his father would cash in. While his father expressed his explicit disapproval of his son's physical flaws, at school Krishna was equally outcasted by fellow students. They saw him as a freak who only got by thanks to his family's money, soon facing more aggressive violent bullies as he reached highschool.

Sick and tired of being seen as a failure, too weak and frail to ever survive, he began to work harder than ever to improve his physique. Krishna hit the gym every day and worked with a trainer in krav maga, improving his ability for self defense so he could fight off those who made a habit of causing trouble. All the while he threw himself deeper into the world of performing arts, taking on theatre classes and joining a small dance crew until graduating. By the time he turned eighteen, Krishna had his sights set on achieving nothing less than perfection and successfully auditioned for the Juilliard School in New York City.

Once spending time earning his Bachelor's in Performing Arts, focusing majorly on acting as he gained experience on Broadway and small American films, he returned home to India with intentions to take Bollywood by storm. Finally his career came to a head when he was casted as the lead role in his father's biggest hit film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai in 2000. After the film garnered major success as a box office hit, both he and his father receiving industry awards for their respective work on the film, Krishna was suddenly an overnight star in his own right no longer having to live in the shadows of his family name.

Just as things were looking up and feeling good, Krishna began falling in love with Ameesha Gauthami, a beautiful heiress to a large brand chain of coffee shops all around India called Brahma Brew. Both had naturally bumped shoulders over the years as part of the upper eschelon of Indian society, yet he never caught Ameesha's eye until then. Much to the families' delight, the two married quickly as their whirlwind romance was followed by fans and the media alike. They were India's new "It" couple and poster children for what the average joe always desired; Success, respect, a fairytale romance, and a perfect miracle daughter born in 2003 who would only strengthen the couple's bond as they raised her together.

Yet all was not as it seemed and life took them down a broken path. Slowly over time Krishna and Ameesha drifted apart as he was convinced he had to continue working nonstop to maintain a relevant career and provide enough to give his family every luxury they deserved. He would spend months in Mumbai on film sets and taking on the next project while his wife was preparing to take over her family's company, refusing to leave their headquarters based in Kerala. At first the couple agreed to remain supportive of each other's dreams no matter how hard the road ahead was, to love each other despite how long they had to be apart. Except their daughter Priyanka was growing up far too fast, the young girl often torn between two different worlds. Working as a barista at one of her family's coffee shops and studying the business with her mother. Then traveling to Mumbai where she was trained in dance, singing, and acting while making appearances in movies.

chapter four

Before he could even realize how time flew by, his daughter was now a grown adult and his marriage having spiritually ended long long ago. The day their daughter Priyanka turned eighteen, Ameesha mailed divorce papers to Krishna and they quietly settled to end the marriage legally. He thought he had done the right thing as a young man, but now he realized the many mistakes he made to tear apart the happy life he should have cherished so much more. Krishna was alone all over again, slipping into a depression until Priyanka expressed interest in becoming a Kpop idol. Suddenly the man had a new purpose, wanting to make up for so much lost time by supporting her dreams to the fullest.

Priyanka passed the Lotus auditions in 2021 and moved to Seoul, prompting Krishna to follow her lead. For the first time in decades he took a hiatus from acting and left for Seoul as he took on a job as a dance trainer. Though it's a brand new world and culture he's thrown himself into, he's determined to find himself again as he stays close to his daughter for the sake of her bright future.
