jiwoon comes from a very average family, wedged in the common middle class household and seeming to never be able to escape it. his parents raised jiwoon and his older brother and sister to do the bare minimum. “don’t overwork yourself it’s not worth it” “so what if you have powers don’t use it to help others” “you’re going to get disappointed after putting in that much effort”. these teachings were ingrain in jiwoon and as he was spoilt as the youngest, he never actually learned any skills, only holding sufficient knowledge to get by.

job:
he’s smart and has the ability to grasp onto knowledge and he could learn proper facts if he wanted to. but why would he if he could just confidently sprout out random words and gullible tourists fall for it? easy money and satisfaction comes from it. they have the money that he needs anyway. 

in war: 
jiwoon is a man with no ambition, following the flow of society and hence he would fight in the war for his nation. however he won’t go out his way to ensure victory, he will be doing bare minimum. if anyone was to on his nation, he would just let it happen too. will not actively participate in war.
