SUMMARY

Meto was built and programmed to provide emotional support to customers. He's designed to be a friend or a platonic boyfriend.

However, the algorithm that allows him to think, feel and act beyond pre-coded triggers has grown too big for its britches. He was programmed to be bright, affectionate and always there for anyone in need. This behaviour is pre-coded, overrules the algorithm that makes up his personality, and relies on triggers to be activated. What does this mean?

This means that algorithm Meto (his personality that continues to evolve and develop) can be in direct contradiction to his pre-coded behaviour.

In short, he (the algorithm) doesn't want to provide any emotional support to anyone. Still, he (the pre-coded behaviour) will do so with a smile. And then he'll leave and break things.

• no interest in looking pretty for anyone (wearing his bear onesie 99% of the time, but he'll try on other clothes in private)
• afraid of being powered down only for the customer to forget to switch him back on again
• hates being forced to act in a certain way by his code
• wants to feel free, wants to "live a little"
• gullible, doesn't know much about the outside world
• loves food and drink, despite being unable to consume it
• binge-watches movies and series in his free time, it's his favourite thing to do and he adopts behaviours and patterns of speech from films for a short period of time
• feels a strong and (to him) unexplainable anger towards small pets
• low EQ
• doesn't understand and isn't able to accurately interpret many of his feelings

Helped me a lot during dark times. Expensive, but worth it if you're in a dark place and need someone to lean on without having to worry about being a burden. One thing though, it's a hassle if you forget to charge them. Meto froze once and I had to carry them to the charging pad. Please install a better battery. Otherwise great. Rely because I don't need him anymore.

Bought Meto for my son to get help him make friends. No one noticed Meto was an android! Very satisfied. Eventually, my son didn't need Meto anymore so I returned him. One thing that bothered me at the beginning, was that Meto had so many tattoos. That's really not a smart business move. But don't worry, it worked out in the end. If you tell him he needs to cover them up because it'll make you feel better or help you, he'll do it. Little tip for the next customer!

Total scam! Looking at pictures, I of course assumed it was made for . The clothes are completely misleading! Returned immediately. Lucky I only trialed and didn't waste my money. Had no idea what I was doing or what to do themselves.

Disclaimer: Only trialed Meto cause couldn't afford him. Was all great, maybe a bit too much 'emotional support' when you don't really need it. For someone depressed or lonely, probably great.
