addiction begins with the hope that something out there can instantly fill up the emptiness inside

taehyung's story begins on december 30th, 1995 in alvito, italy, when his highly anticipated cries broke through the chaos of the sudden home-birth. born two months early, his life was seemingly doomed to begin with. his parents spent endless nights peeking through windows and holding his tiny hands through the holes of the bed within the nicu ward of the nearest hospital. his parents decided then, that if he were to make it out then he would go on to do great things in the world - whatever he would want to do, they would encourage. whatever goals he set for himself, or dreams he would have, they would do what they can within reason. they were the perfect parents, ones that a person could only dream of. 

 

he was about six years old when he decided he wanted to go to the moon himself, and from thereon out, he was the nerd that collected old memoribilia from the US moon landing, had posters of astronomers on his walls and glow in the dark stars on his ceiling. his passion for space had always remained the same, and it still made his heart race when it was mentioned by someone else - thrilled he was, to talk their ear off about not only his job, but his mission and his dreams. 

taehyung began visiting the vl roughly a year and a half ago after stumbling across it on his way home. he'd gotten lost, which was the best way to get to know a city, and was baffled after stepping into the extremely luxurious establishment. the first few visits, he was hesitant. he couldn't risk being seen by anyone he may know, or recognized for his position with the korea aerospace research institution. it wouldn't be the first time. so, he comes with layers on in attempt to shield his identity. 

at one of his more recent visits, he had been introduced to and is slowly developing an itch for more, an itch that needs to be scratched the minute his high wears off. he's developed an addiction, that just might kill him.
