lucky to not come from a background filled with trauma, jiwoong is proud to come from a very tight-knit family based in the city of daegu. his family was nothing out of the ordinary and had similar struggles to those around him. regardless, they were a happy family of three, and with him being an only child, it seemed as though his parents didn't have to struggle as much as he'd seen parents with multiple children struggle around him. they were able to travel more, and he was able to go to his dream college with their encouragement. they were good to him, and they were his best friends. 

 

in his heart, they still are. but when jiwoong accepted a position of pearl in the lounge, it was time to cut off those around him. in the city of daegu, he is reported as missing and has yet to be found. posters of his face remain taped on "have you seen me?" walls, colored photos becoming black and white as rain drops tear at the colored ink. they'll never know where he'd gone, for he had dropped out of school (where he was obtaining a major in psychology) without a word, and left all of his belongings and contacts behind. 

 

this was better for him. and it was better without them in his life to disappoint.
