While in college and when her brother taeyeob was in art
school, siyeon went to visit him and asked if she could move
in temproraily.

when taeyeob asks why, she tells him that she was kicked
out of their family home when she came out to their
parents.

taeyeob allows her to staym only to get into a fight with
their father later that night, outing himself in the process.

while staying with taeyeob, siyeon got a job at a cafe, she
hated it but did her best in order to help her brother pay
the bills.

one day, after getting off of work, she went for a walk
around town and came across a club that she had never
seen before. after entering and learning about pearl's,
she decided to stay and work at vl and quit her job at the
cafe.

she didn't tell taeyeob where her new job was, just that
they provided a place for her to stay.
