jaehyun was all set up to become a powerful lawyer just like his father. all his life he thought his father was someone who was respectable and well-loved by society. but his ambitious turn to politics had caused his safe haven, his family to fall apart. his mother then took him along with her to america. fast forwards a few years later, jaehyun comes back to seoul alone to deal with his father's funeral, which was done hastily to cover up shady political . jaehyun then decided to stay back after much contemplation, settling down with a comfy job and enjoy his father's wealth while living life the way he wants in a city where he might eventually find his own soulmate too.

jaehyun likes to think that everyone, including himself, is like an onion. depending on the people and the situation, jaehyun shows different layers of his personality. when he's alone with a bunch of strangers, jaehyun can be abit of a shy man, and becomes super quiet. he can become the total opposite of that when he's around people he's familiar with.

he doesn't always get mad, but when he does you would not want to be around him. when he isn't doing anything, he ikes observing people at the bar, trying to gauge what they are going through.
