Safety is a luxury. christopher was into a world where the ground could collapse beneath him at any given moment. his parents, though madly in love with one another, were a pair of hopeless romantic drug addicts who thought that a child would save them from the hell they found themselves in. the pair, despite their addictions, attempted to do their best for christopher; they secured a house over his head and often went hungry at night just to ensure that he was fed. 

though his parents were dirt poor, they managed to hold jobs for his sake. however, they never quite kicked their drug problems. late at night, christopher could often hear the flick of a lighter in the other room that was quickly followed by a series of quick, muffled coughs. 

to his parents' surprise, christopher managed to steer clear of trouble for the majority of his life; however, life could never have been that easy. on the morning after christopher's seventeenth birthday, he found himself to be the only person in his home. that wasn't often surprising. typically, his father would already be on his way to work, and his mother would sometimes spend the night at a girlfriend's house. unfortunately, that was the last time he ever saw them. with the financial and emotional support pulled from underneath him, christopher reeled in an attempt to stabilize himself.

unfortunately, the bills began to pile up and he was forced to abandon any hopes of finishing school. he secured a job waiting tables at a dingy restaurant by lying about his age on the application. luckily, the place was desperate enough for help to not ask too many questions. Being a night owl, chris often worked the closing shift. Chris was dedicated to making a living for himself, and the managers took note of his naive nature. they placed many responsibilities on his shoulders in order to lessen their load. more often than not, he would be the only person left in the building, working into the early hours of the morning to ensure that all the closing shift tasks were complete.

UNFORTUNATELY FOR HIM, ON A PARTICULARLY EXHAUSTING NIGHT, HE HAD FORGOTTEN TO LOCK THE DOORS. after being held at gunpoint, chris was forced to empty the register that had not been counted yet, and the two gunmen had their way with him, leaving the opening staff to find him tied up, shivering in the doorway of the cooler. 

the trauma left christopher scarred. he completely shut himself off from the outside world, often only speaking when prompted by a customer. of course, the entire ordeal brought up an internal investigation coming from the top down. unfortunately, the masked gunmen were never caught, but chris' workload was lessened; the store put in a new policy where there must be at least three closing staff every night. it felt odd to have others working so late with him, but chris eventually began to open up to them and feel comfortable again. many nights, he would have one headphone in and he would dance while mopping the floors. one of the new night staff took note of his dance moves and invited him out to a nightclub. that was christopher's first introduction to the venus lounge. 

the allure of the lounge left a lasting impression on him to the point that he quit his prior dead-end job and applied to become a pearl. at the ripe age of 20, he began his career at the venus lounge. today, he has served as a pearl for 4 years, and he's made a name for himself among a select few clients as a phenomenal dancer with talented hips and lips.

Personality — christopher serves as a pearl for the clients that enjoy a show, but also prefer a tinge of mystique. as a pearl, he keeps most clients at a comfortable distance in order to remain professional and safe; however, if he takes a liking to a client, his walls will easily crumble. as an individual, he mostly keeps to himself. there are very few that he will allow into his inner circle. once he trusts you, he'll expose the inner-workings of his mind and allow himself to become vulnerable around you.
