brief background: Born the child of Seelie Court fae nobility, Caoimhin was set to have a blessed, easy upbringing. Unfortunately, Caoimhin was also a curious creature, prone to exploration and pushing the boundaries he had been given, and he took immediate interest in one of the human playthings that one of the nobility had brought to the court, sparking Caoim’s interest in the human world. He spent many years above ground and away from the court, living in the world of humanity, among them and the creatures there. And for many years, things were good. Things changed when Caoim made the mistake of falling in love not with another human, but a werewolf, a creature the Seelie Court nobility had deemed so far beneath them that they were considered animals. Caoimhin left (though Seelie records call it exile) and he wandered until the day he reached the gates of the City of Dreams.
