podd is the sole heir to his father's multi-billion dollar company. the sriphothong family owns many of the resorts across the globe as well as participating in some under-the-table businesses. his parents tend to be very strict and controlling of his life, trying to mold him into the perfect son who will be taking over his father's company. podd, however, couldn't care less about what future his parents had in mind for him nor did he care for the blind dates his mother sets up. he has no interest in women and doesn't plan on settling down with anyone. because of his strict and controlling childhood, he now indulges in the life of , drugs, and alcohol. 

podd has really only been in one relationship. they dated for about 2 years before his parents found out. once they found out, his parents did not approve of his relationship and did everything in their power to break them up. this caused a rift in their relationship and many fights. one day as they were driving home and arguing along the way, a familiar car approached from the side, crashing into his car. all he remembers from that night was being dragged out from underneath his totaled car, and the life being drained out of his lover's eyes. from then on, podd has put up a wall around his heart and decided it would be best to not become too attached to anyone nor open his heart. 

 

personality

podd tends to come off strong at first with his unapproachable and intimidating profile. however, once he gets a little more comfortable, he's a tease and a flirt. although he seems nice and friendly, podd is usually detached from others and will dissociate from people who seem to want to control his lifestyle. he is cold and unforgiving in that sense. he likes to travel and go on hikes as well as spending most of his nights out partying and drinking with his friends.
