❝ merry christmas, hyunjin. i know it's been rough for you lately, and while i do not know entirely what's going on, i know that you're so strong. truly, i admire you for being so busy all the time and yet still making sure to set some time aside for your loved ones. you are incredible, and i'm so, so grateful that i had a chance to meet you this year. i've known you for so little time and yet you're already so, so special to me. you're a truly incredible man, hyunjin. you deserve the world and more. unfortunately, i cannot give you the world, so for now i'll give you what's inside these boxes.

for the first present, i didn't know what to get you. i knew i wanted to get you something more on the "luxury" side because you are a fashion boy, after all, but i know you're an artist as well—so i wanted to give you the most beautifully crafted watch i've ever seen. i've always wanted to own one, but unfortunately i don't really wear watches too often. i don't even think this watch is meant for everyday wear, but i know it is very carefully and artistically made. i thought it would be fitting for an artist like yourself.

my second present is a simple box of chocolates that i hoped we can share and figure out which ones we like and which ones we do not like. i also thought it would be fitting for you, because you're the sweetest person in the world.

anyway, here's to the new year. i hope 2024 is magical for the both of us.
