brief bio: before the kingdom fell 17 years ago, the noble rai family was loyal to the king. renowned throughout the seas as a family of beauty and glamour for the clothes they'd tailor for the family, the rai family held true to the king and his reign. however, when tragedy struck, the rai family was forced to flee like many in the kingdom. at 11 years old, atarah rai's mother was the only one with the ability to take human form with the family's most prized heirloom: faced with the severity of her decision, atarah rai's mother took the leap and instead, gave her daughter said heirloom with clear instructions. find a seamstress and ask to be her apprentice, then, and only then, may she survive above the water.
