Reina growing up surrounded by hunters, and some humans as well. so she knew that mermaid needed to extincted and that had been her gold ever since she learn the skills from her parents and her family. killing mermaid was her life mission, with this goal in mind that was brainwashed into her brain she was deteraminded to do everything in her power to kill all the mermaids.  As she grow up in the town she got her eyes on the most beautiful girl she had seen in her life, she only knows her by her name Keroki, She was a fabric dyer as far as Reina know she just like everyone else she knew. it was bit hard as she tries to express her feeling for Keroki in the beginning, but as time goes one she gaether the corage and did it after many thoughts and debates. what Reina wanted to do was to move in with her girlfriend, but Roki keep rejecting the idea of move in together. So the younger hunter decided to follow her lover to find out why she didn't want to live together.
