Description

tucked into the fabric of reality, hidden to the human eye, lies a literal ghost town teeming with uncorporeal residents. these are the ghosts of people who cannot move on, or choose not to move on. some have unfinished business, some have no idea what's going on, many of them just like hanging out on earth instead of reentering the reincarnation cycle. however, although this town is normally hidden, that doesn't mean humans are unable to enter. on nights when the moon is full, the barrier separating this limbo from the human realm is thin enough that some humans get caught. most of the time it's drunks stumbling their way back home, people too busy paying attention to their phones to see where they are, or those that honestly happen upon the town by chance. once a human enters the town, however, they are unable to leave. at least, until the next full moon. so there are humans that cohabitate with the ghosts before leaving, but perhaps some will decide to stay?

park seonghwa + deceased at 23

the victim of a raging house fire, seonghwa died while trapped inside his home, unable to navigate through the roaring flames and thick, black smoke. he collapsed in the dining room, struggling to push himself up, throat stinging, hardly able to breathe, unable to move away from the fire eating up the floorboards. he passed out before the flames reached his face and branded him permanently, before his soul departed from his body. ever since his death seonghwa has been living in the ghost town by choice. he has no unfinished business, but the thought of moving on makes him uneasy. he gets along rather well with the other ghosts of the town, and is generally quiet and amiable to both ghosts and humans. he still retains the burns from his death, unhealed and unpleasant to look at. most of the left half of his face is burnt and blackened flesh, with parts of his jaw and teeth visible, eye socket gaunt, the muscles beneath his skin red and irritated-looking. he does not feel these anymore. there are also burn scars on various parts of his body, especially his palms and forearms, from trying to escape his home as it burned to the ground. his attire consists of dark brown slacks, a light beige top, suspenders and dress shoes.
