in a medium-sized town in a backwater section of the country, there is a business known only to those who practice or have been exposed to magick. the front of this business is an antique shop, while the true business is run by those with a strong affinity for magick, offering their talents to try and break any curses that happen to wind up on their doorstep. any curse can be placed on any one thing. cursed people may stay in the town to meet with these curse breakers, or a curse breaker may be called across the country to look at a cursed property. (there's not really an overarching plot, think of it more like a tv show where each episode is like a "curse-of-the-week" format. everyone is just living and surviving.)
