Hanbin was the first child to a couple who had many troubles conceiving. His mere existence was celebrated. He was special, a gift, a blessing. And while his father worked day and night, his mother cared for him more than her own life. That is until his sister was born 8 years later and the attention completely shifted to her. He was still expected to carry the family's name, as his father was a known judge in England. And this, he embraced. An overachiever, graduating with flying colours, anything to earn the approval of his parents. Even now, he followed in their footsteps to become a lawyer. Except, It's never been his dream to be one. It was his father's, almost entirely. Here, in a new place without his family, and their immediate approval, his resolve was quickly faltering. He was instead surrounded by his cousins, those who pushed him to have his own dream. His very own bakery. Thus, he freshly dropped out of law school, in hopes of enrolling in culinary school soon.
