Ma Muchen was born the second of three, triplets. The youngest was the epitome of chaos, and the oldest was very reserved, not enjoying meeting new people or talking in general. Muchen was the one who stepped up and took care of his brothers for the most part. In his mind, if he didn't take care of them no one else would. This was because, while technically their parents were in their lives, they didn't care.

By the time the boys were starting elementary school, their parents were burnt out. Raising three babies had taken its toll on them, and despite having wanted the best for them in the beginning, resentment built up. During their elementary years they didn't notice it as much since their parents would still feed them and provide them with the necessities. When they turned 12 and Muchen took a single cooking class, however, it all ended.

Starting from that moment onward, he would be the one to cook meals for the family and get groceries. The youngest triplet was in charge of keeping the lawn presentable and the oldest of keeping the inside of the house clean, but Muchen would still do his best to help with each of their tasks. In some aspects, Muchen would look at his life and consider himself lucky. At least, he thought, his parents were still together. And they never laid a hand on any of the three boys.

Life remained this way until the boys turned 18. Muchen immediately packed his bags, and his brothers followed. They landed in Shanghai with nothing to their names, but they made things work. They found jobs and shared a small room, rented from a man who was actually quite sketchy. The fact that six months passed without incident was a miracle. At the end of those six months, the three got on yet another plane with visas that none of them were quite sure how they obtained, and moved to Seoul.

They moved into an apartment together, this one being far more expensive than their previous residence, but far safer and far more spacious. Muchen got a job at a small cafe, once again alongside his brothers, and while the other two remained content with where their lives ended up, Muchen longed for something more. He went to audition after audition in his freetime, failing one after the other until he was finally accepted into an entertainment company. He knew that here he would be able to start a new chapter of his life, with the undying support of his brothers if no one else.

Unfortunately, this dream he’d once held began to fall apart after a serious injury just months before he was set to debut. He was dropped from the group, and the company, and the hope he once held was completely crushed. He began working at a cafe once again until he landed a position with a gossip site that actually paid him decently. He actually enjoyed this job more than he’d expected. He was able to peer back into the industry that he’d lost his chance of being a part of, but this time on the complete opposite end of it.

All of his articles were ones that created a buzz, typically commenting on the love lives of idols but also occasionally exposing idols for having bad attitudes, or the opposite. He was not opposed to publishing positive articles if he felt respect or admiration for someone he was writing on.

Before You Approach Me

•.*★ important。 If you want to rp but don't necessarily have anything in mind, that is completely okay! I am a thousand percent okay with winging, and I am also okay with helping to come up with something that will work for both of our characters! If you reach out first, it would be preferable for you to start but I am completely okay with posting the starter if it makes more sense for the plot that way or if you don't have the time to post it while I do!

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。I tend to mirror writing style if I'm able to! I can rp in both 1st and 3rd pov, but tend to be just a little faster with 1st pov.

•.*★ plotting style。I am okay with both plotting and winging! If you want to rp a specific plot with a chara of mine, I will say yes at least 90% of the time, and if I say no I will still be open to rping in general! I'll simply, in that case, make suggestions or ask questions on how things can be altered to work better for both of our charas. 

•.*★ overall。 I'll say yes to rping 100% of the time! Please please please reach out to me to rp if you want to form a connection with any of my charas at all!

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ important。 I will never poke you, but please feel free to poke me if I haven't replied in a while! I have a reply tracker/worksheet that I keep updated since I have many plots for all my charas, but there is always the possibility of me thinking I replied when I didn't, or not seeing a reply at all. Because these are possibilities, I am completely okay being poked for a reply! Please, however, only poke me if I haven't replied in 3 days. Thank you!

I try to finish all my replies at least once a day. Sometimes I will only have muse for one or two characters, and during those times I will be a bit slower for certain replies compared to others. If you're really into a certain plot, please let me know and I can be sure to prioritize it a bit more when doing replies! I can be pretty active in the OOC room-- a lot of the time this is because I don't have the time to focus my energy into actual rping. I work from home, so I may appear active in the OOC chat but usually I'm only popping in to give myself an occasional breather from work.

Location Preferences

I prefer to keep plots in rooms and on walls! Plotting I prefer to leave in PMs, and I avoid doing plots in PMs but if there are no other locations available I am totally open to rping in PMs as well.
