Pedro had lost the only woman he had ever truly loved. Frozen in time for the rest of eternity. She had passed away, taken away from him far too early because of a man that held her at gunpoint, screaming obscenities at the bank teller trembling before them, wanting her to give him all the money in the safe. The police didn't make it in time due to the scene getting called in a few minutes too late. Pedro didn't make it in time. He collapsed onto his knees while scooping her lifeless body into his arms. "SOMEONE HELP HER....PLEASE...HELP-", Pedro choked out through broken sobs. "Please...", he whispered while gently running his fingers through her soft, brunette hair, his tears dripping and splashing on the woman's face.

He ended up becoming a grouchy alcoholic who spent most days binging alcohol and arriving to work late, the smell of alcohol still on his breath which ultimately lost him his job on the police force.

He eventually made himself start attending AA meetings to try to better himself but it was so hard when he was still mourning her. She wouldn't ever want to see him like this so he was truly trying.
He applied at Build-A-Lover to work as a security guard, to protect the boyfriends/girlfriends and to keep an eye on the customers as they visited the mansion. He wasn't really good with anything else but he swore he would do his job to the best of his ability.

He had sad eyes every single time he watched a customer and boyfriend/girlfriend dance together or held hands with one another because he had wished he had been doing that with her. It truly wasn't fair but he knew he shouldn't dwell on it or he'd put himself back at the starting line, drowning his sorrows in alcohol once again and he HAD to do better than that. He would never let himself get to that point again.
