ningning is aespa's main vocalist and maknae, she was the third member to be introduced. she was born in harbin, china and she's an only child. her specialty is singing and her hobby is cooking. she can speak mandarin, Korean and a bit of english. her favorite subject is art and she would still find herself doodling randomly in her free time or just painting something for herself or her friends and family if time permits. her favorite colors are red, purple, yellow and pink. when she was young she often dreamt of becoming a painter, but she ended up becoming a kpop idol. she adores horror movies and her voice is rather husky when she sings, she also owns a cat name roro and she would consider herself as being a cat person or cat-coded type of girl.

even though, she became an idol ning always wished to further her academics, so she started college as soon as she got some free time, she started this year with her certificate in psychology with plans of doing her degree part-time once she's finished as well. she's intrigued by how people think, why they do what they do, how the mind works and what makes them tick, hence her chosen major. she's doing this on the downlow and it's a bit of a challenge with all the schedules her group has but she's getting by.

To pay for tuition when she first started, you may think idols income is pretty steep but not all the time, tuition is quite costly so she started applying for little part time jobs and the classified ads led her to a phone company that allows you to work remotely. She has a cellphone specifically for that with a mission of 5 hours total per day to complete and get paid, this helps take care of her tuition with what little money she makes via her idol career.

she came to this place for a bit of peace of mind, in hopes of making other friends, maybe some people who are alike - young idols passing their time studying when they can, bonding over the struggles of school and the likes. she also wouldn't shy away from finding someone who she may like romantically and wish to date in the future, as of right now, she's keeping her options open though, she wants to enjoy her freedom and have fun. doesn't mean she won't have little dates here and there though, nor would she shut down someone who she may end up liking a lot and ready for the other step.
