— a first-generation immigrant due to her mom relocating to france for work, emmanuelle–formerly eunjin, now emma for short–grew up in the busy city of paris, france, before her mother remarried a local and they moved to lyon. with her stepdad and mom both being in the healthcare industry (a surgeon and a nurse, respectively), it was a no-brainer that she chose to follow their footsteps; unfortunately for her, job vacancies were hard to come by even in such a big city. emma's passions eventually led her to applying for a position as a staff nurse at a local hospital in provence, where she's currently stationed in the er. and while her parents have been constantly persuading her to come back to live closer to them, she wouldn't trade her quiet life in lavande for anything else in the world... well, at least not for now.
