yoojung, when one looks at her, she's ruthless, powerful, independent, charming, confident, commanding, a bossy lady with the background and education to prove it. she isn't a kiss type of person and she always stands up for what's right. how did she arrive to knightmare island you may ask? there are a lot of dangers when being an heiress can bring you into some sticky situations. there are some people trying to assisnate her, after taking over the company from her deceased parents yoojung was sent to a remote island, along creatures and humans alike to live, with hopes of being protected by being somewhere so discreet it would be hard to find her. however, wherever yoojung goes, trouble follows. story of her life.

yoojung is a bit cold and icy at first, closed off because she doesn't want anyone to harm her in any way, she's hard of trusting due to how much betrayal she has been through - not knowing when someone may be lurking behind the shadows, waiting to harm her. she's a bit to warm up to others, but once she trusts you, she's quite the loyal person and friend.

kim yoojung has memories of her past life, flooding into the peripheral of her visionn, combating the vivid images all her life has been terribly difficult. the face of a man keeps lingering behind closed lids as she tries placing his face - not for hell can she place him. the mysterious male haunts her dreams, from a little girl into the young 24 year old woman she is today. a face she never can seem to get out of her head, but where there is longing, there's disdain, distrust and misery, the anguish, pain and suffering that yoojung endured from her past life all tumbles back into the memories at the age of 18 when she became a legal adult. the memories came back in full-force and yoojung didn't know what to make of them. the man in her dreams, dark hair, pretty lips, serious eyes, taller than majority of the men she ever came across, was her past lover. 

what was supposed to be love turned out to cold, bitter hate, and the hatred and anger that flooded past yoojung, came into the present yoojung as she recalled her past lover throwing her into the shadows - what shadows? the girl has no clue, it's all confusing. was he a mage? a vampire? a demon? his eyes glowed red, either vampire or demon.. right? she can't be too sure, but either way, throwing her in the shadows had her living a life of misery, being tortured and used for the shadows fun and desires, they found pleasure in harming the pathetic human soul. as her shadow dissipates little by little yoojung had enough, crying pathetically as she begs to be killed, end all of this torture and that's exactly what they did. 

reincarnating into yoojung, looking the same as she did in her past life, the young woman is now on knightmare island, an  heiress, doing her business from the island and passing her commands via video calls or even her personal assistants. people she can actually trust, but lurking in the shadows around the island, are threats and when she spots "HIM" again, the agony and heartbreak rages deep within her, roaring louder than before as she gives her ex lover the harshest back bite that can offer - yet, when she ends up in trouble, it is him who's there to save her. "what better person to protect you? someone who knows you," her assistant suggested. 

now, she's in contract with her demon, song kang, carrying out her deals and protecting her, body guarding her as she tells him, "it's either this, or i never forgive you, choose wisely." would they ever be the same? yoojung hates him but she loves him, craves him, needs him, but does kang even feel a sense of affection or remorse for what he did to her? would yoojung ever find out that she had it all wrong? that the shadows twisted the truth and made kang the bad person? only time would tell...
