background: he is the son of minister ahn duk-geun who is the minister of the ministry of trade, industry, and energy. unlike his father, who was an snu alumni, seokjin attended KAIST and graduated with a bachelor of science and masters in nuclear engineering. recently he has expressed interests in delving into quantum research, hopefully to put korea on the map for the quantum race between usa and china.
