wang meiying, also known as bloom is apart of the 'unnie line,' of the girl group wonderland, but is considered the youngest out of that line. she is a lead vocalist and a lead dancer for the group.

meiying , native to Shanghai china, discovered her love for singing at the mere age of 5 with the help of her older sister who had just been 8 at the time. meimei and her sister used to always sing random songs with one another as it had been a type of 'bonding experience' for the two. her sister had even been the one to introduce mei to the idea of joining any school choirs so she did, and that became the start of her 'good luck,' as one could say. on one choir concert night, .. there must've been a show host in the crowd because he had gained an interest to speak with Mei, wanting her to join his singing programs and who was she to deny with her growing passion of performing her dazzling vocals. mei went on 3 shows before her unexpected encounted at the age of 15 where a simple clumsy incident led her to getting scouted and begin her start in the k-pop industry. despite mei's luck so far, she had actually been very terrified in taking this next step of moving to korea. a new country with a language barrier and all alone, she didn't know what to do with herself. meiying almost gave up, threw away her career dream all because she couldn't resist the urge to just go back home. why, you may ask? it had only been because of small and unavoidable delays beyond her control involving mei getting stuck in traffic and being late to her bording time because she was went to the wrong gate and then actually being on the plane when there'd been a bit of turbulence with a thunderstorm brewing up nearby and young meiying couldn't help but think the worst. though luckily nothing intense happened minus a mental scar or two since that had been a tad of a bumpy ride. after that spook of a plane trip, meiying made her way over to where she'd be staying with other euphonic records trainees where she worked hard for around 5 years before successfully being apart of the final lineup for 'wonderland' and debuting with them on august 15, 2021 when she was 20.
