he was born a lee yun-ho in a dirt-poor family. his drug-addict mother made money through ion and his biological father was out of the picture. at the age of 7, his mother passed away due to overdose and child services took him to the orphanage. he quickly caught attention of a seemingly kind lady who adopted him as her son. the unmarried lady named choi haesoo was the owner of the solomon, a conglomerate group. however, tragedy seems to strike wherever he exists. the memories of growing up in the choi household would forever haunt him, until one day, his adoptive mother was pronounced dead, due to heart failure. at the age of 16, he became the heir of the solomon group, however the will dictated that the entire rights and property couldn't be transferred until he reached 24 years old and was married. the group is currently handled by the nominal head, his adoptive uncle, choi sungho.
