group information: errode is a mix of the two english words 'error' and 'corrode'. the name was created by the members themselves, since all 7 members were notable trainees from other companies before meeting at their current company. all with very long training periods overall, even the younger ones, the group name is linked to their desire to "wear away and destroy our past labels as being 'errors' or 'mistakes' and come out as a top group."

group background: errode debuted on april 4, 2017, after multiple delays. their debut was teased in 2015 and meant to happen a year later in 2016 but was delayed to 2017 because of internal company problems. it was a highly anticipated debut and fans immediately noticed that they debuted on the day 404, referencing the famous computer error 404.
