Description

HER LIFE IN PROGRESS

Honestly I'm just gonna bullet list everything out for now.

✶ ⁞   TWs/CWs.   Mentions of , ual themes, and death. Might be slightly unsettling to read if you are not a fan of those things.

  • She was originally manufactured as an companion who was made to secretly provide services at a floating hotel called "Head in the Clouds" (yes, like in altered carbon), but her manufacturers didn't know she was a little more self-aware than they originally intended her to be.
    • Some androids show signs of this when first manufactured, so this was nothing new to the people behind her creation. They simply thought of her as one of the many who will be able to better service clients.
    • Training and programming sessions also went by easier than normal because she was able to communicate effectively when and where errors in her system would occur, as well as any suggestions for upgrades that she would need.
    • During her training and programming stage, she made many friends with the other companions and even the team managing her began to take a liking to her. This made her develop even faster socially and helped her with completing training.
    • After her training and programming period ended, she shadowed and assisted a few other companions during their sessions, one of which made her garner the attention of a regular client that wanted to request her services. They were to be her very first client.
  • With her first client chosen, it was time for her first service as the lead, while two other products were to wait their turn outside.
    • She was initially excited about the act because this was something she was made to do and she was confident that she'd do it well. Unfortunately for her, the client didn't want to honor the terms of the contract they had signed prior to the session.
    • Every companion comes with a list of pre-programmed kinks and services they will perform, and before you can spend the night with the companion of your choice, you must have them programmed to suit your tastes. The client was a regular known for switching things up on the fly, but they had never tried doing anything without permission before. At least until the session with her. Protocol is that you set aside one day of prep for any last minute changes you want to make for your session, and this client decided they'd test the limits of that.
    • During her session with the client, it started off well. She was able to please and be pleased by the client. However, things took a sharp turn when the client requested something out of her programming. "Come on, it'll be quick. Just this one time," they said, but she didn't want to. She made that very clear, and reminded the client of the rules and terms of their contract. The client wasn't willing to listen though and attempted to forcibly overwrite her right then and there. She called for help and the other companions rushed in and from there everything escalated.
  • Unfortunately, her night with her very first client went dramatically haywire and resulted in the death of two other "products" as well as the tarnished reputation of the client who she was supposed to please.
    • The incident left her irreparably emotionally scarred. As a precaution, the people at Head in the Clouds attempted to erase all knowledge on the client from her system. It showed that this action was taken, but really they just corrupted the file for her and now she can't remember what the client looked like. She still remembers their voice and bits of the incident in flashes.
    • The incident began causing her nightmares, paranoia, and a general uneasiness that affected her work. She wasn't able to perform, and her being a more self-aware model made it hard to just reprogram her, so they were going to decommision her. Before they could, however, she escaped and never looked back.
  • As an attempt to save herself, she fled and hid underground for a long while to get her bearings on the world and also stay safe.
    • She mostly wandered for the next few years until the news and people in general let the stories about the incident die down. It was in this period that she started doing odd jobs around the city, but she took shelter with a strange ripperdoc who didn't ask any questions while she crashed with him. She assisted him in his procedures for the most part while still working around town and saving up money to get her own place.
    • During this time, she saw flyers for talent show tryouts. She wasn't sure she was going to make it big or anything, but she tried out anyway and she surprisingly did well in the show, quickly becoming a fan favorite. This later became the reason she was able to be a popstar in the first place.
    • Her main motivation for getting famous was to have more protection as well as a voice for other androids in the world to have the right to do what they want. Of course, she can't be too open about it, but she remains a popstar so that she can better influence the world and give more androids an opportunity for success.

Ngl I BSed a lot of that so it probably doesn't make sense, but I'll make it pretty later.
