“you can do anything as long as you set your mind to it!” was the motto of the family hugo was luckily born in. a big family, leaning into all those silly tropes that bunnies, hares and rabbits are attached to, but happy all the same. thankfully both his parents are still alive, along with his 6 other brothers who are surprisingly also alive and born healthy! it must be their diet and the way they all live, their entire ‘husk’ as he calls it (a group of hares, but neighbors call them a ‘fluffle’ for they feel more like gentle rabbits) handle a few restaurants and merchant stalls in their neighborhood. hugo and his brothers all want something more (different careers per brother), but they love their jobs, parents, their extended family and their comfortable way of life.
it’s too comfortable for hugo the youngest, even his brothers agree. but they can’t say a word to their parents without proof of hard work, so while doing his bakery duties with his second and third brother, he is hunting for a tutor that can teach him how to be a knight, a warrior, any person that requires fighting! he’s quite tired of the soft rabbit stereotyping he gets, even if he lives up to it well. he still has to prove to his parents that whatever future job he chooses is safe and good for him, so they allow him (with some supervision) to practice in the forest with whatever weapons he carved himself.
