Ren Lin-Hayashi (he goes by both as that is what his parents want) was born in China, in the city of Tianjin, to a wealthy diplomat and a technology mogul. His father is Chinese, and is a wealthy diplomat that is an ambassador to the United States, and comes from a long line of political figures in China. His mom is half Korean and half Japanese, and she is the owner of an electric car manufacturer in Japan, and she has satellite offices in Guangzhou, China and in Seoul, South Korea.  As coming from a wealthy bloodline, his parents only wanted the best for him, so he ended up going to a private school in Luxembourg, at the St George's International School Luxembourg from the ages of 8 to 12, and then transferred out to go to the Rugby School in Japan, form the ages of 12 to 16, and finally to finish off his studies he went to the same school his father went to, which is called the  AISL Harrow Beijing International Day School.

in Beijing, from 16 to 18. After that point, his parents gave him the green light to do whatever he wanted, as long as if he never asked for money if he would not be in the family’s business. He decided to travel to South Korea to find his friends from when he was younger as he heard that they joined an entertainment company named Hi-Step Entertainment. And he joined there from 18 until he was 20 after being kicked out for failing to follow basic policies like dating and getting into physical altercations, after a huge scandal came out that he may have been apart of or may not, no one knows the records are sealed ruh roh. He dawned the name of Yoru for his stage name because he wants to be there even in the darkest of times for his fans. After that he auditioned for and got casted into the company of Nova Lux, on the same day auditioning, just by his face alone. But underneath that pretty face is a voice that can heal your worries and put your mind at ease, as well as a 5-time junior gold medalist at figure skating fencing, from the ages of 12 to 16 for his home country of China, he can also play guitar and piano as taught to him from the early age of 4 at his school in Beijing, at AISL Harrow.
