the idea of a socialite having a child with a breeder from the blushing lotus was, generally, not a new concept. considering the whole point of the program and the undeniable truth that the blushing lotus is a part of it, the possibility was far from being unattainable. however, not a lot of masters and mistresses enjoyed their reputation being tainted by the fact that they've stooped so low as to purchase their goods from a whorehouse.

the moment she had informed her supposed mistress that she was with child, there was no excitement evident on her features. instead, she looked visibly appalled that her ultimate goal in this fast-paced world only succeeded with an omega from a brothel.

now, contolling elsie and his ability to shift during the young ages between two and five was, to say the least, not the easiest. with his deep fascination for the world and his tendency to let his enthusiasm get the best of him, the shifting happened constantly in response to strong emotions. though, thankfully, he was able to finally keep it under wraps once he had turned six, and any signs of shifting have barely sprung up since then.

when elsie finally presented as an omega, carmela was far from disappointed. in fact, everyone in the blushing lotus celebrated the presentation of their favorite baby black panther. it was certainly a joyous day that permanently made elsie never feel shame for his secondary gender.

then, at the prime age of eighteen, elsie found himself having a conversation with his mother who was starting to become rather frail and sickly in response to their lack of financial stability. she gave elsie "the talk" in regards to whether or not he wanted to be a breeder. if he didn't, then she wasn't going to force him. if he did, then she was going to support him every step of the way. "it isn't easy though, kitten," she would say, palm pressed against elsie's cheek as a weak smile stretched across her lips. "you're strong, i know that, but even the strongest of men can't handle the things we go through."

despite her words, elsie already knew what he wanted to do, and that was to become a breeder like everyone he grew up with. not a lot of people would find growing up in the blushing lotus a feat of any kind, but elsie saw it as an advantage. he knew that the most resilient of breeders were from this house and nothing was going to change his mind otherwise.

at twenty three years old, when elsie thought he was going to continue staying in the same house as his mother and chosen family, a random encounter he had with an alpha in the city practically changed his life forever. his name was abraxas carnelian. with the way he dressed and carried himself, someone from the blushing lotus would obviously be not suitable as his personal breeder.

or so elsie thought.

when abraxas found elsie that one fateful evening, he also brought the omega home the moment he found out he was a breeder despite being from the blushing lotus. it was, to say the least, both surprising and flattering to an extent. to think he was somehow interesting enough to be purchased by someone like abraxas... it felt entirely impossible. yet there he was, serving his purpose as a breeder on abraxas' bed that smelled far too heavenly in comparison to those in the dormitories of the blushing lotus. although all their interactions were formal— including any exchange they had between rounds— elsie still couldn't help but find a special kind of attachment to his first experience with a master.

while a lot of it had something to do with how abraxas handled him, elsie ended up finding a whole other reason as to why he felt a deep connection to his first master— "i'm pregnant, sir." he recalls himself telling abraxas, voice soft and quiet, "i'm not sure how the next part of this goes, but i returned to this place just to inform you so i may know if you wish to keep it." elsie understood that having a child with a breeder from the blushing lotus was far from ideal. knowing that there was a 99% chance that abraxas was going to refuse him, he was very much prepared to raise the baby himself.

however, much to elsie's shock, he was suddenly plucked away from the blushing lotus and permanently enrolled to the carnelian house by none other than its keeper, abraxas carnelian.

during the length of his pregnancy, elsie was given training that shaped him into the perfect breeder for the carnelian house. he took everything that was taught to him more seriously than anyone else by committing every rule to memory and executing every request as flawlessly as possible. being a breeder was, after all, the only thing he knew. if this was all he had, then he may as well be the best there is. especially considering his reputation as the one bearing the child of the head of the house.

as soon as aurelia was born, elsie was, surprisingly, given the special task of being fully present in her life; as per request of abraxas. it was a very different set-up compared to the usual agreement between master and breeder, but elsie wasn't about to complain since he fell in love with aurelia the moment he held her in his arms.

ever since then, elsie has only ever had one master purchase him. despite how perfect his capability to serve was, not a single master or mistress has bought his contract in the last five years and it was starting to make him worry immensely. what could be the reason why he hasn't been bought yet?

unfortunately, elsie's original personality hasn't seen the light of day for many years now. buried deep under all the etiquette and skills taught during his training was an omega who easily got excited and fascinafed with things unfamiliar to him. instead of experiencing emotions in small doses, they came in waves that would crash into him in the most overwhelming way possible. so even when he's displaying his usual, overly formal behavior, there's a 90% chance that he's actually housing an indescribable ache underneath it all. nobody would be able to know, though, unless elsie, himself, chooses to reveal it.

aside from that, elsie is also playful to an extent. while he may seem far too perfect to know when to joke around, he'd show every now and then that he was fully capable of causing a bit of mischief. this is most especially seen in moments when he's around aurelia, ellison, and other staff members in the house. he also knows how to play pranks, so don't try too hard in provoking him into a playful mood.

as for flaws, elsie took being a breeder far more seriously than others, causing him to make some people uncomfortable with how much he refuses to take down the act. even in casual conversations with masters and mistresses outside of contracts, he'd simply continue to behave and talk to people like he was merely their servant, posture too straight and speech too formal. directly telling him to stop, fortunately, works in toning it down a bit.

additionally, elsie is quite short-tempered when put in very specific situations that can easily break past his patience and turn it into an outburst of frustration. again, he never feels things in small doses, so it only makes sense that he can get pissed not only easily, but immensely. however, even with how hot the rage inside him burns, the only visible display of his anger would be a smile that looks far more deadly than sweet. he is the type to give silent treatments and hold long grudges until you eventually come to him to apologize properly.

overall, elsie is actually a rather kind and soft-spoken person who is willing to lend a hand to not only his masters and mistresses, but his fellow breeders as well. if anyone is in need of assistance, he will most likely be the first one to notice it without being asked due to his very observant gaze.
