donghyuk, with his older sister were born in seoul and had lived there until his father had passed away. the tragic incident had caused the family to move to the states when the boy was just 5 years old, having to quickly learn english. he grew up all the way until he had started high school and that's when his family moved back to korea. the changes had been hard on him both times, however, he had managed well both times, being able to keep somewhat in touch with his friends back in the states and easily making new friends back home in korea, despite feeling like an outsider having to get used to his home country once again.

after graduating high school, donghyuk had went to an art school, where he had got into a dance team, and soon became a choreographer, and starting up his own dance team.
